Excessive Guilt LP

Excessive Guilt detonates in eleven songs and about twenty minutes, the debut full-length from Thrown, the Stockholm band Marcus Lundqvist, Johan Liljeblad, and Andreas Malm formed in 2019, with Buster Odeholm of Vildhjarta and Humanity's Last Breath handling drums and bass in the studio. Arising Empire put it out, and critics pinned the "pissedcore" label on the record's corner of nu metalcore, a tag the band itself resists. It won Best Breakthrough Album at the 2025 Heavy Music Awards.
