Bait And Switch LP

Ron House, previously of Great Plains, fronts this lo-fi Columbus, Ohio outfit's debut, cut for about $800 and put out on Onion Records, an American Recordings imprint. Robert Christgau gave it an A-minus and Entertainment Weekly called it short on polish, long on charm, and that's about right. The band later released music through Rockathon Records, the label Robert Pollard of Guided by Voices runs; cheap to make, well reviewed, worth the search.
