1969 Live with Lou Reed 2LP

1969: The Velvet Underground Live catches the band on the road, pulling sets taped October 19 in Dallas and in late November at San Francisco's Matrix club. Mercury Records didn't put it out until 1974, well after the band had split and Lou Reed had gone solo. Doug Yule takes lead on "I'll Be Your Mirror," a song Nico originally sang on the studio version, and with the group's catalog mostly out of print for years afterward, this live record became one of the main ways fans first found them.
