Self-Titled 2LP

The self-titled debut from The Time is a cheeky affair, crammed with funk and delivered in sharp doses by Morris Day's suave vocals. Tension thrums between playful seduction and spunky instrumentation, a dance only Prince could inspire. The bold red and white vinyl does little to hide the fact that, ultimately, it's the attitude that elevates this set from mere grooves to something decidedly more lively.
