Nobody's pretending to have the whole story on this one, and that's fine. Soul Eater comes to VIC Records, the UK import label, credited to a band called The Reverend, but "Reverend" turns out to be a common name to borrow in heavy and doom metal, worn before by an unrelated 1990s outfit out of Yakima, Washington. Don't assume a connection where the databases won't confirm one. Buy it as what it plainly is: a heavy metal import, no documented backstory attached.
