This one's pressed on limited orange vinyl through the small label Red Brontosaurus, a fitting color for a band this steeped in sixties psych-pop sunshine. The Psychlops, a San Diego outfit, Jeffery Paul Lynn, Andy Rasmussen, Tommy Rodriguez, and Newmar Brostulim, with Chris Bearden adding guitar, work a jangly, organ-warmed strain of psychedelic pop shot through with shoegaze and space-rock textures. The orange wax just makes the sunshine literal.
