Sleep Well Beast 2LP

Sleep Well Beast, The National's seventh studio album, was built largely at Long Pond, the 18th-century barn guitarist Aaron Dessner converted into a studio in New York's Hudson Valley. Aaron and Bryce Dessner produced alongside Matt Berninger and Peter Katis, and the record won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album while topping charts in the UK, Canada, and Ireland. "Day I Die" and the title track lean into tense electronic texture against the band's usual brooding rock.
