Self-Titled 2LP

The Felice Brothers had already put out four records themselves before Loose and Team Love Records reintroduced them with this self-titled one, which is really a fifth album doing the job of a first impression. Five of its songs had already surfaced on 2007's Adventures of The Felice Brothers Vol. 1, dressed up here alongside new material for people who hadn't caught on yet. The A.V. Club gave it an A-, Pitchfork shrugged, and somehow it's still the record that put this Catskills band on the map.
