Twelve tracks cut fast at Ardent Studios in Memphis with Alex Chilton behind the board, the original Cramps lineup (Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, Bryan Gregory, Nick Knox) tearing through this session before it sat buried for decades. Lux and Ivy mixed pieces of it under this same title back in 1989 and shelved the whole thing; now Henry Rollins and Ian MacKaye have pulled the tapes out for release through The Cramps Inc., the label Poison Ivy runs with In the Red's Larry Hardy and filmmaker Jimmy Maslon.
