Television followed Marquee Moon with Adventure less than a year later, same lineup, Verlaine, Lloyd, Smith, Ficca, cut in New York that fall and out on Elektra by April 1978. Rolling Stone called it a step down from the debut. Robert Christgau in the Village Voice disagreed, and history has mostly sided with him.
