Twenty years into recording as The Tallest Man on Earth, Kristian Matsson finally went looking for the songs at home instead of in Americana: Just Beyond Endless Mountain came out of a return to Dalarna, the Swedish region he grew up in, and swaps his old American folk and blues reference points for traditional Swedish fiddle music.
