Story of the Year - A.R.S.O.N. LP

Story of the Year's 2003 debut, Page Avenue, rode "Until the Day I Die" into becoming one of the biggest-selling emo and post-hardcore records of that era, the kind of thing a St. Louis band doesn't shake off twenty years later. A.R.S.O.N., which stands for All Rage, Still Only Numb, is their newest for SharpTone Records, produced by Colin Brittain, the same producer behind their 2023 record Tear Me to Pieces, and it pushes further into screaming than they've gone before without dropping the hooks. Think of it as the band finally admitting the quiet parts were always the setup, not the point.
