Jason Rowdy Cope built The Steel Woods around Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings filtered through Led Zeppelin's low end, with Wes Bayliss out front, until Cope died in January 2021 and the band carried on without him until Bayliss called it in 2024. Lexington Tapes Live pulls nine live cuts from that catalog, including Straw in the Wind and a cover of the Allman Brothers' Whipping Post, though exactly when and where this was recorded isn't confirmed.
