Umbrella LP

Club Estrella and Cafe Life came first, two EPs building toward the retro-futurist pop sound New York quartet Starcleaner Reunion locks into on Umbrella, its debut album. Jo Roman's vocals sit over guitar work from Pat Drummond and Neil Torman and bass from Adam Kenter, with guest clarinet, horns, and violin filling out the arrangements, and Model/Actriz's Ruben Radlauer mixed the record. The songs swing between motorik drive and orchestrated stretches. This import pressing lands on clear, black, and purple splatter vinyl.
