Break The Cycle 2LP

Break the Cycle was Staind's second major-label record, and it's the one that turned the Massachusetts band's mix of nu-metal heaviness and ballad-style hooks into an actual commercial breakthrough, anchored by the hit It's Been Awhile, which rock radio played constantly through the early 2000s. Aaron Lewis's raw, confessional delivery is most of why the multi-platinum sales made sense back then. This 25th-anniversary Black Friday picture disc isn't a repress of those original masters, it's the band cutting the whole album live again for the occasion.
