Snot Puppies were Beverly Hills High School kids playing in the early Hollywood punk scene alongside the Germs and the Screamers, active for just 1977 and 1978. Guitarist Jeff McGregor had already done time in the Screamers before this lineup cut three songs in 1978 with producer Geza X, the same guy behind records for X and the Germs. Those tapes sat unreleased for decades before landing on this archival pressing, a physical document of a band that otherwise left barely a trace.
