Swimmin' Time LP

Swimmin' Time sounds like somebody kicked over a washtub in a Charleston kitchen and recorded the splash, Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst stomping folk, rock, and country into one raw heap on their second album for Dualtone. It followed O' Be Joyful straight to No. 1 on the Folk Albums chart and into the Independent top ten, Paste calling out its homegrown, unpolished charge. This indie-exclusive pressing is the one worth hunting down.
