Terraform LP

Terraform came together in fits between 1995 and 1996 before Touch and Go put it out in 1998, the second album from a trio that treated the studio like a fourth instrument. Steve Albini, Bob Weston, and Todd Trainer built its eight tracks on tight, engineered interplay, the same precision Albini brought to records by Nirvana and PJ Harvey. Pitchfork gave it a 7.9 at the time. Albini died in 2024; this pressing puts the album back on 180-gram vinyl.
