Mod Mayday LP

Sharp Pins is Chicago musician Kai Slater's main project, recorded hissy and homemade on a portable multitrack. This K Records LP leans into mod-revival jangle on "It's a Mod Mod World" and "Love Only Me," and the lo-fi hiss suits the throwback better than a clean mix would.
