I Want to Be There is a 2019 release from Sadness, a solo American black metal project, issued through the Flowing Downward label. The project works in the atmospheric blackgaze style, running fuzzed out, abrasive guitar against soft, shoegaze leaning melody and screamed vocals, a pairing that has carved out its own corner of extreme metal over the last decade. This pressing comes on clear vinyl.
