Cut With the Cake Knife LP

Cut With the Cake Knife pulls together the songs Rose McDowall wrote after Strawberry Switchblade broke up, material meant for a second album that never got made. First out in 2004, it tracks her pivot away from that band's melancholy pop and toward the neofolk and post-industrial ground she'd dig into later. This Sacred Bones edition remasters the record and dresses it in new packaging, pulling one of Scottish pop's overlooked footnotes back into the light.
