Love Songs Pt. 2 CD

Collage artist Romare Bearden lent this project both its method and its name: Romare is the recording alias of UK producer Archie Fairhurst, who cuts up disco, soul, and funk samples the way Bearden cut up paper and photographs. Love Songs Pt. 2, his second album, follows his debut album Projections and the Love Songs: Part One EP, both also on Ninja Tune, stacking those scraps into warm, dancefloor-ready tracks that earned four stars from The Skinny, with "Who to Love," "My Last Affair," and "Who Loves You?" singled out as the record's high points.
