Premature Nostalgia LP

With her sister Lucy Green, who records as Elucyve, producing alongside her, Phoebe Green made her second album, Premature Nostalgia, the follow-up to 2022's Lucky Me. Field recordings lifted from Manchester's clubs and industrial edges sit inside a sound the Manchester singer-songwriter has pointed toward Jockstrap, James Blake, and FKA twigs as touchpoints. The songs work through a habit she's described in herself: getting sentimental too early, attaching meaning to things, grieving losses before they've actually happened.
