Two of a Mind LP

Strip the piano out and two horns have to carry everything, which is the dare Paul Desmond and Gerry Mulligan take on their second pairing. Three 1962 sessions in New York, June 26th, July 3rd, and August 13th, shuffled the rhythm section under them, Connie Kay and Mel Lewis trading time, while Desmond's alto and Mulligan's baritone volley light against low across the six-track original LP. Jim Hall's guitar comes from a separate June 8th date, added later as CD bonus material. Speakers Corner presses the RCA Victor original at 180 grams.
