Is This America CD

Pat Metheny's been making records since the mid-70s, first on ECM, later on labels he runs himself, and he's never been shy about dragging politics into his live sets, readings of We Shall Overcome and Frederic Rzewski's The People United Will Never Be Defeated included. This release rounds those pieces up alongside the title track Is This America? and Peace Universal, put out through his own Uniquity Music as a limited CD run. It's Metheny being blunt instead of abstract, which is its own kind of surprise.
