Kapaim

Two decades in music, about a dozen years of that spent running Ouzo Bazooka's Middle Eastern folk through a funk amplifier from Fuji Rock to Sziget, and Uri Brauner Kinrot still finds new corners to work in. Kapaim, album five, is what happens when he shuts the door and works alone: mostly instrumental, with Yuval Garin on drums for a few cuts and Gaya Wajsman, Eden Atiya, and Layla Kinrot on vocals. JJ Golden mastered it for Batov Records, and it sounds like a solo record that still remembers how to throw a party.
