Pale Communion 2LP

Opeth pushed Pale Communion further from its death metal roots in 2014, first on Roadrunner Records, continuing the melodic, progressive turn that Heritage had already started. Mikael Akerfeldt said he wanted stronger vocal melodies this time, and critics landed on comparisons to early King Crimson and Deep Purple. Rhino puts this out as a 2LP edition.
