Love balloon CD

Ocean Alley call their own sound "cruisey," hazy guitar tones laid over loping, dub-inflected grooves that pull from psychedelic rock and reggae as much as straight alternative rock. Love Balloon is their fifth album since 2016's Lost Tropics, following 2022's Low Altitude Living, and it keeps this six-piece from Sydney's Northern Beaches among Australia's steadier rock exports. The title track and lead single "Tangerine" lean into the warmest, most melodic end of that sound.
