Post-American LP

No guitar anywhere in MSPAINT's lineup, just Nick Panella on vocals, Quinn Mackey on synth, Randy Riley on drums, and DeeDee on bass, a Hattiesburg, Mississippi band formed in 2019 that built its sound around that absence. Pitchfork pegged the result as carrying a 'post-apocalyptic hiss,' synth-punk and hardcore fused with industrial art-punk textures. Post-American, released on Convulse Records with a guest spot from Militarie Gun, is the debut full-length after a run of cassettes and singles that started in 2020.
