My Dinosaur Life LP

Mark Hoppus took the production chair for My Dinosaur Life and pushed Motion City Soundtrack's hook-heavy pop-punk into brighter, more polished territory, the move that landed them at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, their highest chart mark. Justin Pierre's nervy, self-deprecating vocals still drive every track, now backed by thicker synth-and-guitar layers, from opener "Worker Bee" through "Pulp Fiction" and "Hysteria." Twelve songs that sound bigger without losing the anxiety underneath.
