Live At The Shoals Theatre 2CD

This is the tape of a reunion nobody planned to need: Jason Isbell back onstage with his old Drive-By Truckers bandmates Mike Cooley and Patterson Hood, cut live at the Shoals Theatre in Florence, Alabama, in June 2014. The whole show was a benefit, raising money for a University of North Alabama professor fighting back from two strokes, and the trio leaned hard on Isbell's old Truckers songs, with "Decoration Day" and "Outfit" among them. Three guys who already knew the material cold, playing it like they'd never stopped.
