Bla-Bla-Bla LP

These are the early sides, cut back when Leslie Kong was still producing the group, before the world knew them as Toots and the Maytals. “Pressure Drop” sits in the middle of it, the song that rode The Harder They Come onto screens outside Jamaica and got covered afterward by Robert Palmer, the Specials, and the Clash. Yellow vinyl, same ska-into-reggae turn the band helped shape. A clean place to start.
