Migratory LP

Masayoshi Fujita spent thirteen years working out of Berlin before he went the other direction entirely, settling into a mountain village in Hyogo, Japan. That migration gives this Erased Tapes record its shape, eleven tracks shaped by images of birds, movement, and migration, with novelist Pico Iyer writing the sleeve notes and Moor Mother and Hatis Noit guesting on vocals. Field recordings and synth textures work their way into his prepared vibraphone pieces, Tower of Cloud and Ocean Flow among them.
