Guns Don't Kill People.... Lazers Do 2LP

Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do launched Major Lazer in 2009 on Downtown Records, the dancehall vehicle Diplo and Switch built around guest voices: every cut carries a Jamaican vocalist, from Mr. Lex and Santigold trading lines on opener 'Hold the Line' to Vybz Kartel anchoring 'Pon de Floor.' It barely dented the Billboard 200 at 169, but reached number 7 on the electronic chart, telling you which audience found it first.
