Los Bitchos draws its lineup from Western Australia, Uruguay, Sweden, and south London, an all-instrumental band that cut its debut with Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos producing at Gallery Studios, the London room owned by Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera. The record runs cumbia, chicha, surf rock, and Turkish psych together without a single vocal line anywhere on it, built strictly for the dance floor.
