Matt Hales produced most of Lianne La Havas's 2012 debut for Warner Bros./Nonesuch, a folk, soul and alternative pop record centered on her own guitar and voice, with two outside assists, Willy Mason on "No Room for Doubt" and a Scott Matthews co-write on "Elusive." It made her one of the more distinctive UK singer-songwriters of her generation.
