Kutiman, the stage name of Israeli multi-instrumentalist Ophir Kutiel, built this sixth album the way he builds all of them: playing everything himself. The groove here runs slow and trip-hop leaning, picking up dub, Afrobeat, and vintage Ethiopian saxophone tones along the way. Dekel, from the Israeli funk group Funk'n'Stein, sings lead on about half the tracks, including "Always Be Alone" and "My Everything." A solid pickup for the one-man-band crowd.
