Polygondwanaland LP

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard put out Polygondwanaland as the fourth of five albums in a single year, arriving after Flying Microtonal Banana, Murder of the Universe, and Sketches of Brunswick East. The Melbourne band gave it away as a free download and told fans to press their own vinyl, dub their own tapes, or burn their own CDs rather than hold the release to themselves. Few records in their catalog make the case for that restless, genre-hopping pace as directly as this one.
