Islands (Elemental Mixes) LP

Islands came out in 1971, King Crimson's fourth album and the one that leaned hardest into jazz fusion. David Singleton, Robert Fripp's longtime business partner, has run the band's archival remixes since the early nineties, and his Elemental Mixes dig back into the same six tracks, Formentera Lady through Prelude: Song of the Gulls, to pull out what the original mix buried. Nothing new was written. Just an old record, opened back up.
