Burning Song LP

Kali Malone hauled her first batch of new solo compositions since 2024's 'All Life Long' into Leipzig's Thomaskirche, the church where Bach once worked, and leaned into its Bach Organ with Lucy Railton on cello and Stephen O'Malley bowing an acoustic guitar beside her, the same trio that built 'Does Spring Hide Its Joy.' Some of this material started as a commission for the 2023 Venice Music Biennale before she finished writing the rest in the single month leading up to the August 2025 session. The organ fills the room the way only a few tons of pipe and air can, pressure more than noise, and the record on Ideologic Organ carries that weight straight through.
