All Life Long 2LP

Organ tones held so long they start to feel like weather, slow fronts moving through a room. Kali Malone, raised in Denver and based in Stockholm since 2012, recorded this two-LP set between 2020 and 2023, including sessions with longtime collaborator Stephen O'Malley at a 2021 festival in Nantes. The Macadam Ensemble and Anima Brass join her pipe organ, several pieces rearranged for organ, brass, and voice. It follows 2019's The Sacrificial Code and earned an 8.3 from Pitchfork, out on Ideologic Organ.
