By the time he reached 30, Tom Holkenborg had already produced and played with the Dutch new wave band Weekend at Waikiki, formed an industrial rock group (Nerve) that recorded two albums, produced bands like Sepultura and Fear Factory, and licensed his own electronic synth creations for video games.
