The Age Of Everything LP

Johnny Marr wrote The Age of Everything in London, road-tested the songs on a North American tour, then flew home to Manchester to actually record his fifth solo album for BMG, which is a strange amount of travel for a record he calls the most cathartic thing he's made. The title points at how technology has its hooks in everything now, but Marr balances that against something closer to hope than dread. 'Spin' was the song that opened the door.
