The Age of Everything LP

Fifth solo album for Johnny Marr, after the Smiths, stretches with Modest Mouse and The Cribs, and his own band Electronic. Ten tracks here, anchored by the same rhythm section he's leaned on for years, bassist Iwan Gronow and drummer Jack Mitchell, swinging between anthemic hooks and quieter, more private material. Early word calls it some of his most refined solo songwriting yet, even if it keeps close to ground he's already covered.
