With His Hot and Blue Guitar LP

With His Hot and Blue Guitar is Johnny Cash's debut, cut for Sun Records with Sam Phillips producing and the Tennessee Two, Luther Perkins and Marshall Grant, behind him. Four songs hit as singles, led by "I Walk the Line" topping the country chart and crossing into the pop Top 20, with "Folsom Prison Blues," "So Doggone Lonesome," and "Cry! Cry! Cry!" all charting too. One of Sun's earliest full-length records and the one that put Cash's stripped-down sound on the map.
