Muse LP

Pharrell heard John Legend's voice drop into the middle of Clipse's "The Birds Don't Sing" and could not let it go, because "Muse" is the result: a full album where Pharrell produces everything and even sings on a handful of cuts, with Clipse returning the favor on "Bodies on the Floor." Legend, the EGOT holder behind "All of Me" and "Ordinary People," builds the whole thing out of gospel, doo-wop, and soul, with Nina Simone, Nat King Cole, and Marvin Gaye sitting over his shoulder. Smokey quartz vinyl for the edition worth grabbing first.
