John Coltrane with the Red Garland Trio LP

Recorded August 23, 1957 at Rudy Van Gelder's studio, this was John Coltrane's third album as a leader, first out on Prestige in early 1958 and later reissued under the title Traneing In. Craft Recordings' Original Jazz Classics series returns it to 180 gram vinyl on October 9, 2026, an early chapter in Coltrane's development, recorded alongside pianist Red Garland's trio.
