Love Rock 'N Roll LP

The title track here wasn't even Joan Jett's to begin with: Alan Merrill of the British band the Arrows wrote and recorded it first, and the Blackhearts turned somebody else's leftover into a monster that sat at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks in 1982 and went platinum. The Shadow Album doesn't just repress that 1981 breakthrough, it digs up alternate studio takes from the original sessions, a different record hiding inside the famous one. Blackheart Records is running this Record Store Day Black Friday edition as an exclusive LP.
