The Way Out Of Easy 2LP

The ETA IVtet's second record follows 2022's Mondays at the Enfield Tennis Academy, with Jeff Parker, Josh Johnson, Anna Butterss, and Jay Bellerose locking into the same room they'd played every week until the venue closed its doors in December 2023. Engineer Bryce Gonzales planted one microphone per player and let the quartet work without a safety net, printing every shift in dynamics straight to tape. Four tracks, no overdubs, no cleanup: just four musicians pushing against each other in real time.
