Hawk LP

Hawk is the third and, by the BBC's own count, best of the records Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan made together, following Ballad of the Broken Seas and Sunday at Devil Dirt. Campbell produced it herself this time, pulling in Willy Mason, Bill Wells, and former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, a strange crew to land on a record that still finds room for a Zombies cover sitting right next to their own songs. It climbed to number 29 on the UK Albums Chart.
